Test Fields

Action

required, custom

Choose the action to perform against the subscriber balance type selected. Options are:

  • set in VWS to This will change the subscriber's balance for the balance type in the VWS server to the given value (in littles). It sets the absolute value of the subscriber's balance.
  • check is exactly This will retrieve the subscriber's balance for the selected balance type from the VWS and check that it exactly matches the one provided by the test. If it doesn't, the test will fail with a warning.
  • check has changed by This will retrieve the subscriber's balance for the selected balance type from the VWS and check that it has changed by the given amount (negative or positive) from the previous time the balance was retrieved. This is most often used in conjunction with the retrieve balance option where prior to a call the balance is retrieved with retrieve balance and then the call cost is checked using the action check has changed by.

  • retrieve balance This action will retrieve the balance of the subscriber from the VWS and store in local test storage. This is most useful in conjunction with the check has changed by action.
